Bad new for Squash Fans as Nour El Tayeb is out of CIBBB

World #3 CIB Nour El Tayeb has withdrawn from the upcoming CIB Black Ball Squash Open.

It means that CIB Hania El Hammamy, the reigning Black Ball Open champion after her stunning run to the title in March, will move up to take El Tayeb’s place in the draw. The young Egyptian will now face Canada’s Danielle Letourneau in the first round.

Welsh #1 Tesni Evans moves up to become one of the top eight seeds, taking El Hammamy’s place. She will play England’s Lucy Turmel, who takes the last spot in the women’s draw in Cairo.

Egypt’s Nadine Shahin moves up to take the spot left vacant by Welsh Tesni Evans – who takes Hania’s place in the draw – and she will now face Belgium’s Tinne Gilis in the opening round.
